Firefly is an orange dune buggy made of solid steel tubes, with a large spoiler. Firefly transforms into a turbo glider. Contrary to the vehicles of the first Toy Line, Firefly has less chrome parts. Only the engine and exhaust were chrome.
Firefly was available in the USA in the second Toy Line. In Europe Firefly was offered directly from the launch.
The toy featured Julio Lopez with his Steamer mask.
The Firefly toy came with licensed "Goodyear" rubber tires.
(read more)Firefly belonged to the cheaper vehicles in the second series of toys. This is also noticeable in the it´s simple transformation mechanism. Also, there were not many accessories.
On the engine, at the rear, there are two small levers. If you pull the left one, the wings fold out. On these are 2 Prism Beam Laungher. Then you fold up by hand the front part of Firefly. Here is another weapon hidden.
If you pull the right lever when the wings are unfolded, you release the bomb. The bomb was not included in Germany.
The interior consists of a blue seat, a small dashboard and a steering wheel. There is no seat belt.
Unlike the cars of the first Toy Line, Firefly does not have a connection for a fuel hose.
There were 16 stickers that had to be applied.

The boxes had some differences in different countries, even within the same country. In the same country there were changes in different years.
The EU boxes are completely different from the boxes from the other countries. So you have no back on which the toy is explained, it is just the same site as the front, only with different languages. You can see this in the boxes section. All other differences follow now. Attached are the differences for the Firefly boxes.
US Box
The artwork of the US box is less different from the EU box than it was for the first Toy Line. On the US box both the bomb and the laser beams were present. Otherwise, the artwork is only in small details different.Click to enlarge
