MASK Boulder Hill (click for images) M.A.S.K. has its headquarters at a gas station in Boulder Hill. Boulder Hill Gas works as a functional gas station, complete with gas pumps and a repair garage. Buddie "Clutch" Hawks, M.A.S.K. agent in charge of upkeep on the fleet of transforming vehicles, also maintains the gas station's cover as a working facility. If under attack, the gas station has offensive and defensive transformation abilities, including freeze cannons and armor plating.
Inside, M.A.S.K.'s headquarters is far from ordinary; M.A.S.K.'s vehicles are stored inside, as well as theenergizing device that powers the team's masks. Matt Trakker has a subterranean transportation system that shuttles him between his mansion and M.A.S.K. headquarters. All this is supplemented by an incredibly powerful computer.
MASK Energyroom (click for images) The MASK energy room is one of the central elements of the first MASK episodes.
Hidden deep in Boulder Hill, the energy room consists of two parts. The room where the M.A.S.K. agents come together to discuss the mission, and the actual energy room, also called the mask room.
The table and chairs in the energy room are on a huge platform, which rises up following the meeting.
Once the platform has moved up, it reaches the mask room where the masks will be charged for the mission.
The masks are moved out of the ceiling with the energizing device. The energizing device can hold a maximum of 8 masks.
After the energizing device was mopved out of the ceiling, the arms fold out and an energy beam flows through them, into the masks. With this, the masks are then charged for the mission, and can be used.
In the course of the episodes, the energy room always looks different. He has several designs.

With the watch, today we would say smartwatch, the agents were informed that they were selected by the M.A.S.K. computer for a mission.
A flashing mask, similar to Matt's Ultra Flash mask, appeared in the watch's display, signaling to the agents that they were needed.
These left thereupon everything and drop, and hurried to the mission.
The watch was silver / red with a metal bracelet.

V.E.N.O.M. Headquarter (click for images)
In this episode, the only time we see the VENOM headquarters is in the cartoon. At least it gives the impression that it is. Possibly it is also only one of the many temporary operation bases.
The headquarter is built into a rock, and quite inconspicuous.
Inside, we see only a laboratory where VENOM is cutting the Death Stone and studying its powers.
Outside there is an area where trucks stand by and, and VENOM henchmen as they dismantle the supposed UFO shell of Switchblade. The yard appears to be completely surrounded by a mountain.

Switchblade remote control (click for images)
"I'm about to have him" Vanessa must be thinking in the episode "The Magma Mole" as she flies Switchblade, and activates the targeting device to take Condor out of the sky.
But what is that? Switchblade is getting completely out of control. What's going on here?
Miles Mayhem! Using his remote control for Switchblade, he takes control and lands Switchblade.
The remote control was already seen in 2 previous episodes. In "The deathstone" Cliff Dagger controls Switchblade, which is disguised as a UFO. In "The Star Chariot" Miles gets Switchblade to escape with the remote control.
There are 2 versions of the remote control. In the first two episodes it is rather a plain box, in "The Magma Mole" it looks like a remote control of an RC car.

The Deathstone* (click for images)
The Deathstone Meteorite, most commonly referred to as just the meteor was a powerful life-giving object that fell from the sky and immediately began to grow vegitation in and around the crater it landed it.
Professor Stevens was one of the scientists on hand, all clad in radio active suits, and she was documenting the phenomenon with a video camera. Suddenly, what appeared to be a UFO came out of nowhere to pick up the meteor and fly away with it.
The 'UFO' was actually the V.E.N.O.M. vehicle Switchblade disguised in a fake UFO shell that, guided by a remote control held by V.E.N.O.M. operative Cliff Dagger was able to steal the meteor.
Miles Mayhem surmized that if he cut the meteor in three separate pieces, instead of giving life, the stone would instead cause decay and death. Renaming the meteor the 'Deathstone', Mayhem vowed to sell each piece to the highest bidder.
M.A.S.K., with a little help from Scott Trakker and T-Bob, managed to get all three Deathstones back before they were sold to unscrupulous buyers from around the world. Professor Stevens attached the pieces back together again using Matt Trakker's technology, and used it to heal agent Hondo MacLean, who had been seriously injured during the mission.
This action caused the meteor to lose all of it's healing powers, making it unable to heal or destroy anyone else in the future.

Summary of The Deathstone
Location of the episode*: Colorado & Nevada, USA
Summery:
In the opening scene, a meteor strikes a distant terrain. This impact causes the growth of a green mesh, indicating extraordinary properties.
The next day, the military explores the scene. Based on the occurrences, the scientist concludes that the meteor can give life energy. Suddenly a UFO appears and steals the meteor. The UFO is remote controlled by Cliff Dagger, a Venom agent. Cliff tries to steal the video camera that recorded the entire event. However, he gets kicked in the knee by Professor Stevens and the professor escapes. Cliff contacts Sly Rax by radio. The latter takes care of the runaway with Piranha. Dagger also joins them with his jackhammer and they pursue Professor Stevens' jeep. With a well-aimed shot they hit the tire of the jeep and it falls over a cliff into the water. The two Venom agents think she is dead.
When the professor awakens, she finds herself in Matt Trakker's country home. After a brief introduction and discussion of the situation, all is clear. Scott and T-Bob, meanwhile, are busy playing a table tennis match together. Scott is scoring the decisive point. Since T-Bob is a bad loser, the latter is no longer in the mood. Thereupon the two decide rather to spy, what Scott's father, Matt Trakker, probably makes.
This just looks at the video of the professor and comes on it that Venom is responsible and is behind the whole mess. Scott and T-Bob have of course observed the whole scene. Matt decides to carry out the agent selection. Following this, he immediately sets off for Boulder Hill. Also Scott and T-Bob want to be of the game ssein of course.
Meanwhile, Venom makes an experiment with the stolen meteorite to test the property. For this, Miles divides the stone into three parts and the nearby flowers immediately die. Miles is pleased with the result and goes directly to the search for suitable buyers for this weapon.
Meanwhile, the Mask agents have arrived at Bolder Hill and are informed of the situation. Subsequently, after loading the masks, they go on the mission. Venom is also already on the way to the sales meeting point. Matt also already has her on radar and gives the order to attack. Switchblade tries to take on Condor and Firercracker. Matt comes to the aid of the other agents. Brad Turner uses a hologram to deflect the missile sent by Switchblade away from its target, putting Switchblade himself in trouble.
Scott and T-Bob are hiding in the back of Firercracker, yet a little scared. Rhino takes uterdessen Sly Rax before itself. Firercracker has to do with Jackhammer and it comes also still Rhino in the way, so that Hondo can prevent only with a bold evasive maneuver worse. Scott, however, is thrown off the loading platform during this action. With combined forces, however, Mask manages to save Scott again and Venom to put to flight.
Hondo, however, is injured during this risky rescue operation. Scott and T-Bob feel guilty and set out on their own to retrieve the Meterite and thus save Hondo.
Arrived at the purchase meeting point, T-Bob launches a diversionary maneuver so that Scott can steal Switchblade and notify Mask. The latter, of course, rush to help as quickly as possible. Scott manages to sink the Venom gang in the dock despite his poor flying skills and frees T-Bob as well. Together, the two take rißaus in a truck.
Mask arrives meanwhile and a wild fight breaks out at the end of which Venom draws the short straw and makes his escape. Thus, the transactions are prevented and Mask recaptures two of the three meteorite pieces. Scott and T-Bob bring back the third piece, which they found in the stolen truck. now Professor Stevens can finally put the metorite back together so that Hondo can be saved by its healing powers.
Subsequently, the powers of the meteor go out. Everyone is happy about the successful ending.
Safety tip*Scott and T-Bob are playing baseball. The ball flies into the street and Scott goes to get it. But there is a truck coming, so he has to wait. It follows, first look left and right before crossing the street.
Facts worth knowing about The Deathstone
Particularly in this episode*:
• Being the Pilot episode, this is the first appearance of all vehicles and characters featured.
• The sequence of
Dusty Hayes dropping a pizza when he gets the call from M.A.S.K. is used again in
Solaria Park.
•After the fake UFO steals the meteor from the crash site,
Cliff Dagger is seen holding a remote control, indicating he was guiding the UFO with it. But later it is explained that the
V.E.N.O.M. helicopter Switchblade was in the UFO shell instead.
Small mistakes in the episode*:
•
Professor Stevens is wearing a radiation suit when she escapes in a jeep and is seen to retrieve a video tape from her camera. V.E.N.O.M. causes her jeep to crash into the water, and when she awakes she has been rescued, brought to Matt Trakker's mansion, and has the videotape in the pocket of her jacket. Even if she was wearing this jacket underneath her radiation suit, how did she get the tape in her inside pocket and why didn't her clothes get wet?
•After
Scott launches
Switchblade, the helicopter lands in the water. Later, nevertheless, there is a duel between
Matt in
Thunderhawk and
Mayhem in
Switchblade.
Useful information*:
•While the piece of space debris featured in this episode is consistently referred to as a "meteor", technically the Deathstone is a meteorite. A meteor is a piece of space debris that has entered the atmosphere. A meteorite is the term for a piece of such debris which has survived the trip through the atmosphere and impacted on the ground.
•Sharon Noble voices Professor Stevens, but neither
Gloria Baker nor
Vanessa Warfield appear in this episode.
